Campsite Rules
Hi everyone using the campsite for ECMW 2025. As we are using the local Rugby Club training pitch and part of the car park and though we are paying them a hefty fee I know you’ll understand there needs to be a few rules for everyone’s safety and ease of pitching
- On arrival please follow instructions from staff of where to pitch up. We have set out access roads and “safer” areas for tents please do follow instructions as there isn’t a vast amount of space.
- You will be taken to your pitch and once you’ve pitched and settled please register inside the Rugby club.
- Motorhome and caravans will need your levelling devices and ramps.
- For those with caravans in order to make best use of the space could you please park your car in the car park immediately behind the rugby club once you have parked your caravan. I know it’s inconvenient but space is quite tight.
- Showers and toilets are open during the day and one toilet is open 24/7. but though we have cleaners please help by keeping them as you would like to find them.
- We aren’t allowed any open barbecues as we are granted use of the training pitch.
- Please follow safety instructions for your cooking equipment.
- Motorhomes and caravans please do not empty grey water on the site.
- The assembly area in the event of an emergency is in the main pitch. Please identify where it is.
- We suggest you bring torches for night time as street lighting is limited.
- In the event of a fire please call the Brigade and say it’s at the Rugby Club. sound your vehicle horn as long as it is safe to do so, others not close also sound your horn and then go to the assembly area.
- It’ll be really helpful if you can take your rubbish home as we have only a limited number of staff.
- The organisers do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss of property on the campsite or in the Rugby Club.
- Any issues whilst on site please bring them to the attention of the staff.
- We have arranged a minibus to run a shuttle service from 07.45 for breakfasts between the Rugby Club and the centre of the town. It will finish at about 17.00.
Myself Baz and Bill and on behalf of everyone attending we would like to thank the Rugby Club for their hospitality without which the whole event couldn’t happen.
